On November 9th, the ninth annual DDK Internal Medicine Workshop was held at our faculty, providing third- and fourth-year students with an opportunity to practice physical examination skills, enhance their theoretical knowledge, and expand their understanding of internal medicine.

On Saturday, October 26th, 2024, we organized the first Pathophysiology ECG Workshop of the Institute of Translational Medicine. It took place in three classrooms of the MediSkillsLab. The Workshop aimed at deepening the theoretical and practical knowledge of ECG analysis of third-year medical students. It also provided opportunity to register ECG recordings of volunteers and participants, thus gaining hands-on experience on the practice and pitfalls of ECG recording.

On November 25th, we organized the 8th Internal Medicine Workshop at our faculty, providing an opportunity for third- and fourth-year students to practise physical examination in internal medicine, complementing and expanding their theoretical knowledge.

The 1st Anatomy Demonstrator Workshop was organized on the 13th of November, 2023. The main organizers were dr. Jason Sparks assistant professor, dr Andrea Tamas, associate professor, director of the Circle of Demonstrators, and Liliana Lucas, demonstrator student. The number of participants was 54 students and 18 faculty members from the Department of Anatomy. The language of the program was English, as many demonstrators from the English and German programs also participated.

On the first of April, The Surgical Society in collaboration with the Circle of Demonstrators held its first Surgical Workshop, entitled “Surgery 101” at the MediSkillsLab, initiated by Furkan Yaslioglu, a 5th year demonstrator student from the General Medicine program.

On February 24th, the Department of Languages for Biomedical Purposes and Communication held their fourth demonstrator workshop, entitled “How to Become an Effective Demonstrator while Teaching Languages for Medical Purposes?”

The DDK Workshop for Internal Medicine took place for the seventh time on November 19, 2022. The event provided an opportunity for third- and fourth-year students to practise physical examination. Physical examination is not only vital for the students' upcoming exams, but also an essential part of hospital practices.

On 18 February 2022, the Department of Languages for Biomedical Purposes and Communication hosted its third demonstrator workshop entitled "How to become an effective demonstrator student in Languages for Medical Purposes classes?”

On November 13, 2021, with the participation of 75 students and 25 demonstrator students, the DDK-Workshop for Internal Medicine was held for the sixth time. The main goal of the event was to provide as many students as possible the opportunity to practice the physical examination. The one-day event was available not only to third-year students but also to fourth year students, because many of them did not have the opportunity to practise the physical examination due to the online lessons last semesters.

On March 13 and 14, 2021, the DDK workshop for internal medicine took place for the fifth time in the Medical Simulation Education Center, MediSkillsLab. The aim of the two-day event was to give as many students as possible the opportunity to learn and practice the physical examination on each other, which had to be canceled due to the online lessons in the winter semester.
